Welcome to this luxury restored farmhouse or "Mas" in the Luberon valley between Apt, Lourmarin and Bonnieux. The Mas is available for rental as a complete unit and sleeps 9 to 12 adults plus 2-3 children.

 

Set among 20 hectares of stunning countryside, in a quiet and secluded valley, this elegant 500-year-old building has been painstakingly restored to offer all the very latest features of a beautiful and tranquil period dwelling.

 

A "chef's kitchen" is available for those who wish to create gourmet meals using the varied fresh produce that can be found in every local market. And those who prefer to let someone else do the cooking can choose from the wide selection of fine restaurants in the nearby villages.

 

As a working farm, in a fairy-tale setting, the property is ideal for both small and large groups offering three self contained areas. Two of these are in the main house, and the third in a separate cottage. These areas are not rented seperately.

 

The main house comprises three bedrooms, all with an en-suite bathroom, and one double and one twin bedroom. On the lower level is a self contained unit which has its own garden entrance, access to the pool and the outdoor dining area. There is a comfortable double bedroom, a sitting room with kitchenette and a second bedroom with bunks suitable for children. There is also a bathroom and a shower-room.

Across the courtyard a cottage offers a double bedroom, sitting area and kitchenette, and a separate twin bedroom and shared bathroom.

 

The extensive gardens include a 12m x 6m heated salt-water pool, vegetable and herb gardens, a small pond and a beautifully maintained original Roman bassin, fed by a spring, which was once used to store fish for eating but now contains the ornamental kind.

Countless rural walks and hikes lead to beautiful vistas of the Luberon Valley and its dramatic hilltop villages.
